Regarding the “Closing Party”: Don’t overload your luggage with ties, bow ties, tuxedo, evening gown, diadems. We know each other, be simply as you are when we meet during the day. We don’t need a gala to be happy.
Following the precedent set at the 2024 EEMA conference in Luxor—and 2025 in Iasi, and as it is the custom at certain other conferences—a “Gift Exchange” workshop is being organized.
How it works:
Instead of burdening themselves with numerous small gifts, interested participants bring a single gift typical of their district or country, valued at approximately €25. They tuck their business card or a short note inside the wrapping.
- The gifts are numbered, and you receive a corresponding ticket.
- The gifts are mixed randomly, though an effort is made to respect participants’ diverse origins as much as possible.
- At the end of the conference, you collect the gift intended for you.
- Don’t forget to meet and thank the person who gave it to you.
Translation in French will be available during plenaries and in one of the Workshops room (mostly for French speaking people)
